<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Nanobiotechnology is an actively developing field of science, which finds application in cancer therapy, molecular diagnostics and molecular imaging. In this work, selenium nanoparticles were successfully obtained by chemical reduction of selenite ions with ascorbic acid in dextran phosphate (DP) solutions, which was used as a stabilizer. It has been found that dextran phosphate coated nanoparticles are stable during storage for 3 days. Sorption of the antitumor substance doxorubicin was studied in the concentration range from 0.1 mg/ml to 1 mg/ml. A significant prolongation of cytostatic release from stabilized nanoparticles was shown. Selenium nanoparticles coated with water-soluble DP can be used to create broad-spectrum drugs, in particular, antitumor drugs that compensate for selenium deficiency in the body.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>наночастицы селена</kwd><kwd>фосфат декстрана</kwd><kwd>доксорубицин</kwd><kwd>высвобождение</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>selenium nanoparticles</kwd><kwd>stabilization</kwd><kwd>dextran phosphate</kwd><kwd>doxorubicin</kwd><kwd>release</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена при поддержке Белорусского республиканского фонда фундаментальных исследований Республики Беларусь и Министерства инновационного развития Республики Узбекистан (2021–2023 гг., Белорусско-Узбекский научно-технический проект, № Х21УЗБГ-020).</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The work was supported by the Be- larusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Innova- tive Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2021– 2023, Belarusian-Uzbek scientific and technical project, № X21UZBG-020).</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Doxorubicin-loaded oligonucleotide conjugated gold nanoparticles: A promising in vivo drug delivery system for colorectal cancer therapy / C.-S.
